Practical information

The King Baudouin stadium is divided into four different coloured stands to help you find your seat:

Stand 1: red

Stand 2: yellow

Stand 3: green

Stand 4: blue

Block naming is organised counter-clockwise (the direction of a race) and from bottom to top.

The numbering of the rows follows the same logic: row 1 at ground level, up to row 44 at the highest level.

Seat numbering follows the same logic: seat 1 on the right, seat 38 on the left of a row.

During concerts, Stand 1 is usually occupied by the stage and the ground is covered to create a “pit” in which spectators stand.

In the pit, you can seat where you want.

Outside, ten access gates can be used to enter the stadium. During large-scale events, each visitor with a ticket is allocated an entrance door. In most cases, the entrance doors are the same colour as the stand where you are seated (see map).

Refer to the access map provided by the organiser of the event you are attending to find out about the specific access requirements for each event.

Other than major events (to access sports activities organised within the stadium, to get to private events, to access offices or for deliveries), access to the stadium is via the Marathon gate.

Low Emission Zone

The Brussels-Capital Region is a Low Emission Zone (LEZ). If you want to drive to the King Baudouin Stadium, check on Lez.brussels to see whether you can use your vehicle in this zone.

Does your vehicle not meet the access criteria? You can buy a one-day pass or make use of the many alternatives available for driving in the LEZ.

Thank you for taking part in the regional initiative to improve air quality and, in turn, everyone’s health!

All events at the King Baudouin stadium are accessible to people with reduced mobility. However, the stadium’s stands do not have a lift and are therefore not wheelchair accessible.

For concerts, a raised platform is usually put in place by the organisers to ensure easy access and good visibility not only for visitors in wheelchairs but also for anyone who has difficulty walking or standing (due to disability, illness or injury).

During sporting events, special areas are set aside for PRM, usually at the bottom of Stand 1 or on the athletics track.

PRM and those accompanying them must purchase special tickets for these areas, which are specially reserved for them at major events. Therefore, do not buy your tickets via the standard ticket office. Contact the event organisers directly to find out how to proceed.

Events at the stadium

The King Baudouin Stadium does not directly manage ticket sales for events organised at the stadium. If you would like to attend an event at the stadium, consult our agenda and buy your tickets directly on the organisers’ websites.

Sometimes the exact schedule for a concert at the King Baudouin Stadium is not known until a few weeks or even a few days before the start of the event. This is due to the internal organisation of the opening acts and the running of the event. If you can’t find the information you’re looking for on the agenda page, don’t panic! All concert ticket holders will receive an email with all the practical information they need to get to the stadium a few weeks or a few days before the event. Concerts generally start between 20.00 and 21.00. The supporting acts (if scheduled) generally start between 18.00 to 19.00.

Getting through the entrance can take a while when so many people arrive at the stadium at the same time. To make sure you don’t miss any of the action, we recommend that all visitors arrive at the stadium at least one hour before the start of the event. You should also allow plenty of time to get to the stadium, as public transport can be crowded and roads and car parks busy.

Are you in possession of a ticket bearing a name other than your own? If you bought the ticket legally, this should not be a problem. If possible, try to get the name on your ticket changed by contacting the organiser of the event you are attending.

If you have purchased a package, photo ID is usually required on the day of the event to collect the contents of your package. Ask the organiser to change the name on your package.

Do not under any circumstances buy tickets from unofficial re-sale websites. Tickets identified as being sold at exorbitant prices are listed and blacklisted, meaning that they do not give access to the event. Have you bought a ticket on one of these sites? First of all, try to contact this site. In some cases, the difference in price will be refunded. If not, consider taking legal action before a civil court. Always report any re-sale to the Economic Inspectorate via meldpunt.belgie.be.

There is generally no minimum age for attending a concert or sporting event. However, a concert, football match or other large-scale event is not an ideal environment for very young children. Regardless of their age, children must always have a ticket to attend an event. For children under the age of 12, it is generally recommended to buy a seat at the concerts. Children under the age of 16 wishing to stand on the pitch during a concert must generally be accompanied by an adult. Different rules may be applied by the organisers. Ask the organisers about the specific rules for each event.

A non-exhaustive list of prohibited items can be found on the prohibited items page. This list may change subject to the demands of the organisers. To avoid any disappointment at the entrance to the stadium, please refer to the specific instructions provided by the organisers.

If, for medical reasons, you need to bring into the stadium certain heavy medication such as injection equipment, food or fluids essential for the treatment of an allergy or illness, this is of course possible, but a medical passport is required (which can be obtained free of charge from any pharmacy within approximately three weeks).

Only photos/videos taken with a smartphone or small fixed-lens camera are permitted. Selfie poles, tablets, cameras with interchangeable lenses, video and/or audio recording devices, GoPro or similar cameras and drones are prohibited. Press photographers, film crews or professional photographers who would like to come and take pictures at the stadium outside of events are invited to contact our communications department: communication@prosportevent.be

There are no lockers at the King Baudouin Stadium. At some concerts, the organisers set up a locker system with a limited number of lockers for ticket holders in the stalls, but this is not systematic. So check the list of items banned from the stadium carefully before you come, and only take the bare necessities with you.

Objects lost during major events at the stadium are handled by the organisers. To recover your lost items, please contact them directly. You can find the names and contact details of all the organisers of major events in our agenda.

If you have lost an item in the stadium outside a major event (during a sporting activity or a private event), please contact us by email: info@kingbaudouinstadium.be

Food and drink stands are systematically provided at major stadium events. They are generally located inside the stadium enclosure and additional refreshment areas are organised directly in the stands. Street stalls and local traders also offer food and drink outside the stadium. Please note, however, that food and drink purchased outside the stadium must be consumed before entering the stadium. Payment inside the stadium is generally made using a rechargeable card.

Smoking is not permitted in the King Baudouin Stadium.  Smoking is prohibited inside the stadium, in the stands and on the pitch during concerts. Electronic cigarettes are also banned. At major events, smoking areas are usually set up outside at the foot of the stands.

There are numerous toilets throughout the stadium. During major events, additional toilets will be provided outside the stadium.
